How to turn Private Label Rights into Gold

Creating an EBook Checklist

Objective: To create an eBook in your chosen niche using free PLR eBook(s), and getting them edited, formatted and converted to PDF.

Step 1: Choosing your eBook(s).

Grab some ebooks from the plr giveaway and download them to your hard disk or memory stick. Simply look for relevant titles and see where , etc. Read the eBook(s) to decide if it’s relevant and of decent quality. If necessary, use more than one eBook to grab the best content and make one BIG eBook out of it. Brainstorm an attention-getting name/title for your eBook. No lies guys but make it sound sexy even if your giving it away it must sound appealing.

Step 2: Making the eBook yours.

Edit and make it yours. Change at least 20% of the text. If you can do more than this then that’s preferable. Add some text in various spots as you see fit. Try and change as much as you can if you have specialist knowledge in the field get it in it will be the difference between a me too product and something that stands out in the field you are about to enter. Create your Bio/About Me page. Include a picture. This is a nice place for links back to your other sites and your blog. If you don’t know how to do this check out this video right click open in new window or bookmark this page so you can come back. Add your Bio/About Me page to the beginning of the eBook. Go back and review your additions/changes/etc. Make sure it makes sense; especially if you are combining more than one eBook.

Step 3: Look and feel of your new eBook.

This is another area you should put some time and energy into. While the quality of the content is important, so is the design. Poorly designed is viewed as unprofessional.
Put a nice border into your product here’s a video tutorial to do so. Change some colour, design – input your personality into YOUR new eBook. Taking this little effort will tell your customers that you care about the details. Give your new eBook a thorough inspection. Check for spelling, content, flow, readability, and design.

Step 4: Convert to PDF

If you have any links in your eBook to other sites, products, etc., check to be sure they are clickable. If you don’t know how to do that click the link to this short video on how to use pdf955 which I use it’s pretty simple. Convert your document according to the instructions of the conversion utility you have. Check the conversion how is the formatting? Did it change? Are the fonts the same as the ones in the Word document? Check all the images to make sure they converted as well. Check all links – make sure they are still clickable. If your not sure how to do this then check out this video.

Still not got some private label rights grab some free plr by clicking the highlighted link.

When you’ve got your book all nicely packaged then take heed from some of my online buddies and mentors.

What makes an article exciting and entertaining?

Part of the internet riches series.

If you now your marketplace and it’s something your familiar with and have passion about then there’s a good chance your audience will have as well. If you haven’t already you should find your passion.

But Here’s a quick list of 5 reasons which is no way them all.

1. It’s really really new, your breaking news.
2. It’s poetic or beautiful.
3. It makes the reader feel special. (As if it’s been written with love for their eyes only)
4. It touches the libido unfortunately we are all sometimes baser beasts.
5. It makes the reader laugh.

I listed some article directories a while back check them out for sources of information.

However you can and should look at some of the news sites here are a couple of the mighty ones.

http://www.propeller.com/
http://www.stumbleupon.com/
http://digg.com/

Believe me there is a lot of dross in there as well but it’s well worth becoming active in these sites when you do have an article to publish as they can be a huge source of traffic.

For a great article on communicating across different IM media the check out get what you want

internet riches and product selection

motivation and mindset aside for a little while what we’ll have to look at is what are you gong to sell. An ebook, audio video physical product. The options are endless and you probably should look at using the content in multiple ways.

Multiple ways?

If you’ve got the 30 days to internet riches product then open it back up. If you’ve not you can download it for free. It’s on the page linked above.

The link inside the book is an offer for a dvd. Now it’s quality information and is FREE you pay only for the postage. The information that is on it is the recordings of a conference that the guests paid $15,000 to attend.

You can do the same with an eBook and audio, if you are more comfortable writing than talking you can pay to have your eBook recorded for you and you’ve made 2 products.

OK - But how do I know if people want what I’m going to offer?

Have a look in some very big marketplaces. Find out about what people are buying, buzzing about.

  1. Google
  2. Amazon
  3. Digg

And some smaller niche research.

  1. Are there print journals or magazines on your topic
  2. Visit related forums
  3. Look at some articles on the topic.

If there are lots of products existing then you’ve got a market for yours as well, you have to add value and compete. Look at what people need in forums it’s easy to find people bashing stuff with posts like “Product X is OK but I wish it did this.”

When you see stuff like that make sure it does.

30 days to internet riches

30 days to internet riches
Are we being overambitious. Perhaps but this is not a get rich quick scheme this is tried and tested by a team of vey high quality marketers. Like everything in life you’ll get out of this exactly what you put into it.

I’m going to say that Russell Brunson is perhaps the only marketer that I would buy his product without reading the salesletter. Everything that I’ve bought and applied has made me money. Now the content produced here is and excellent starting guide for anyone looking to build an online presence. One of the key things I’ve learned from him is to use your content in multiple ways for different purposes. You can publish similar content in a different format for different users at different price points.

Now you are going to have master resale rights to this product. You can use it for personal use, give it away to build a list or sell it for whatever you want. Here’s the links to your product and reseller website for 30 days to internet riches.

Comments On Other Blogs

Published by under content and traffic

Now this works both ways, a blog is a kind of community. That’s probably the reason that blogs are found in the social networking categories at the likes of clickbank and paydotcom.

WHY oh WHY would you link from your blog to another blogger? Search engines love outbound links as long as they are links to related sites. A link to an authority in your field is not a bad thing but if you link to someone who has 2,000 unique visitors a day they may not notice the juice that you squeezed for them if 20 of readers click through to their site. So are they likely to reciprocate the link?

I’ll leave that to yourselves to decide the answer.

Now look at the situation from a different standpoint lets say you link to another blog for example someone who is up and coming in your niche you’ve read some of their articles and like them they don’t seem to be getting too many comments on their blog why would you link to this site?

Well in this case the blogger would almost certainly notice the traffic that you sent them, it may be a turning point for them and the start of potential joint venture opportunities and of course future backlinks to your site. A blog that certainly looks nice talked about free themes for your blog.

Gary Jordan I’m sure will be around for a long time to come so might be one for your bookmarks guys. Well I’ll certainly keep an interest.

I’ve just looked at Odinn’s blog and he’s updated his theme and it looks lovely as well if your finding it all too much doing all the tasks online yourself you can always listen to Odinn he’s just said “hire my virtual assistant“. What I’d love Stacy to do is to tell me where Odinn got that killer theme, and a copy of the code for the optin box would be greatly appreciated.

If you’ve not got the message it’s similar to forums just be even more respectful of the site owners they do not want to spend their day deleting spam posts. That’s about it for today however if you haven’t got Odinn’s massive-traffic-flood yet really consider it.

Recycling Forum Traffic

Published by under content and traffic

BEFORE YOU START WITH FORUMS GET BBCode worked out it’s one of the most important things you will learn if you are an affiliate marketer or blogger who is looking to drive traffic back to their site.

BBCode is something you will need to know in a phpBB forum which most forums on the net allow.

Yes I said it twice thanks for noticing but it is really that important.

phpBB BBCode supports a number of ways of creating URIs, Uniform Resource Indicators better known as URLs.

* The first of these uses the [url=][/url] tag; whatever you type after the = sign will cause the contents of that tag to act as a URL. For example, to link to phpBB.com you could use:

[url=http://www.phpbb.com/]Visit phpBB![/url]

This would generate the following link, Visit phpBB! You will notice the link opens in a new window so the user can continue browsing the forums if they wish.

Why do you need to know that stuff well there are a lot of eyeballs in some of these forums the conquer your niche internet marketing forum has 40350 registered users now thats a lot of potential traffic from just one source and if your offer is in any way net marketing orientated then this is an excellent place to start looking for visitors.

Why would they look at your offer.

  1. You have been helpful. (answered a request they have made in their post previously)
  2. You have been interesting.(Put across a point of veiw that has caught the imagination of the readership and it has started further debate, once a thread is started in a forum it can take on a life of it’s own. People tend to look back to see what caused the thread to start an there is your signature file staring at them waiting to be clicked.
  3. It’s very compelling, you leave people wanting to know more my signature file in most forums is the following.

[url=http://www.younewproductsmonthly.com/updates]Find out everything else you need to on my blog[/url]

Sneaky but Legal Tactics

[url=http://www.younewproductsmonthly.com]affiliate landmines[/url]

So get involved leave good content, be helpful, respectful and constant people will begin to understand you and will want to hear more of what you say. Here’s a few I like there are thousands out there just do a google search on “your niche forums” you’ll find lots more.

Rosalind Gardiner’s Net Profits Today Forum

Russell Brunson’s Conquer Your Niche Internet Marketing Forum

Lynn Terry’s Self Starters Weekly Tips Forum

SalesandMarketingForums.co.uk

Jump in and get involved look for threads you can add value to give good advice without looking for anything in return and you will see traffic finding it’s way back to your site.

Start with a few forums and build up a presence if you post regularly then people will start to become used to you and more interested. Make it part of your routine to make a couple of posts a day it’s well worth the effort.

Have a great day

Driving Blog Traffic

Published by under content and traffic

Everyone is looking for more traffic. So how can you get some more for your Blog?

Here are some and I’ll look at them in more depth over the coming days

  1. Joint Related Forums - Now don’t post rubbish. When you do that you’ve instantly lost the respect of your new public. Look for threads that you know something about and can add value to the ongoing discussion. Leave your future prospective readers wanting more and you’ll get visitors to your blog. Generally each forum will allow you a signature file us this to drive traffic back to your blog. A favorite forum of mine is Russell Brunson’s Conquer Your Niche Marketing Forum click this text and get involved.
  2. Comment on other blogs - very similar to forums add value to the ongoing discussion and people will seek you out to find out more about you and what your all about. DO NOT post lame comments like I agree what a great article, your wasting your time and that of everyone that reads it. If you have posted similar leave a link to the thread. Leave links of love from your blogs if you love a post at another blog link to it with no thought of receiving a backlink other blog owners will notice you.Because they will suggest and add ways you can generate traffic, here’s a post about an overlooked website traffic method frm Lynn Terry.
  3. Submit articles to directories - If you post articles on line you are allowed generally an about me box, leave a link back to your blog, If you enjoyed the article you can read more at yourblog.com. The article length in my opinion is irrelevant as short or as long as you want but the point is it should leave your reader wanting more and should have a way of finding you.
  4. Social Networking - Facebook, Twitter you name it Web 2.0 is big and will get bigger. Find people of a similar nature and comment upon what is going on in their lives get involved marketing is now a social event. I was slow on the uptake here as admitted previously.
  5. Start an email list- And if you haven’t subscribe to mine. Top right corner of the page guys - always always make it clear to people what they are required to do next. Ps I’ll only send you blog updates or stuff that I genuinely believe will help your online presence or learning.
  6. Use Lists - Search engines as well as people love lists. People tend to get all the way to the bottom which is where we are for today thanks for reading.

A bucketload of free products

Published by under jv giveaways

Yes I’ve just posted an article suggesting everyone and their dog should get a copy of the DOG to sit on their desktop and be read on a regular basis.

However today I’m going to say that JV Giveaways are alive and well. Well not quite, joint venture giveaways as they were 2 weeks ago are dead, pointless and potentially the end of internet marketing as a way of life for some net marketers. (They promote a myth that you can have success for free and fast online.) Wouldn’t it be wonderful.

A major problem with JV Giveaways of the past was that it was the same people joining and promoting to the same people. Breeding what 10 big lists wit the same people receiving the same promotions and buying nothing but waiting till it was given away cheaply or free.

NOW what is different about today. Well long time net markerter Ken McCarthur has teamed up with Odin Sorenson to produce a unheard of giveaway. Kens coaching clients who pay $499 will be exposed to these offers so believe me every net marketer worth his salt will want these people to download their gift and join their list.

So there is going to be unbelievable quality inside this site available for free, look out for my offer inside I don’t think it will ever be available again.
