What are the strategy issues involved in a product launch?
This begs the question what is a strategy and there are plenty of different versions of this. Here’s a few for you to muse over while we look at some strategies involved in product launches.
“Strategy is the direction and scope of an organisation over the long term: which achieves advantage for the organisation through it’s configuration of resources within a challenging environment, to meet the needs of markets and stakeholder expectations.” Johnson
“course of action for achieveing an organisation’s objectives.” De Witt & Meyer
“Goal-directed descisions and actions in which it’s capabilities and resources are matched with the opportunities and threats in the external environment.” Coulter
“Strategy of a corporation is a comprehensive plan stating how the company will achieve it’s mission and objectives.” Hunger & Whellen
It is not a short term aim. This is a massive issue that most one man bands cannot fathom when they come online, when they purchase their product and it doesn’t change their lives in a month they become disheartened with marketing and they believe that the only successful strategy is to be a conman and cheat their way to riches like they think the over hyped product they purchased promised them.
Strategy depends on the competitive environment.
This requires an ongoing undestaning of the marketplace you exist within it’s customers as well as consumers. Existing competitive products and potential new entrants into the same marketplace. Are we being overambitious. Perhaps but this is not a get rich quick scheme this is tried and tested by a team of vey high quality marketers. Like everything in life you’ll get out of this exactly what you put into it.
I’m going to say that Russell Brunson is perhaps the only marketer that I would buy his product without reading the salesletter. Everything that I’ve bought and applied has made me money. Yes I’ve just posted an article suggesting everyone and their dog should get a copy of the DOG to sit on their desktop and be read on a regular basis.
However today I’m going to say that JV Giveaways are alive and well. Well not quite, joint venture giveaways as they were 2 weeks ago are dead, pointless and potentially the end of internet marketing as a way of life for some net marketers. (They promote a myth that you can have success for free and fast online.) Wouldn’t it be wonderful.
A major problem with JV Giveaways of the past was that it was the same people joining and promoting to the same people. Breeding what 10 big lists wit the same people receiving the same promotions and buying nothing but waiting till it was given away cheaply or free.

So this may seem like a new beggining for me there are many reasons. Acceptance that what I did in the past online was a total waste of time. For myself and for those that read my spammy type posts. It may be a little harsh on myself because at least I have written most of my content myself
