Comments On Other Blogs

Published by at 7:59 am under content and traffic

Now this works both ways, a blog is a kind of community. That’s probably the reason that blogs are found in the social networking categories at the likes of clickbank and paydotcom.

WHY oh WHY would you link from your blog to another blogger? Search engines love outbound links as long as they are links to related sites. A link to an authority in your field is not a bad thing but if you link to someone who has 2,000 unique visitors a day they may not notice the juice that you squeezed for them if 20 of readers click through to their site. So are they likely to reciprocate the link?

I’ll leave that to yourselves to decide the answer.

Now look at the situation from a different standpoint lets say you link to another blog for example someone who is up and coming in your niche you’ve read some of their articles and like them they don’t seem to be getting too many comments on their blog why would you link to this site?

Well in this case the blogger would almost certainly notice the traffic that you sent them, it may be a turning point for them and the start of potential joint venture opportunities and of course future backlinks to your site. A blog that certainly looks nice talked about free themes for your blog.

Gary Jordan I’m sure will be around for a long time to come so might be one for your bookmarks guys. Well I’ll certainly keep an interest.

I’ve just looked at Odinn’s blog and he’s updated his theme and it looks lovely as well if your finding it all too much doing all the tasks online yourself you can always listen to Odinn he’s just said “hire my virtual assistant“. What I’d love Stacy to do is to tell me where Odinn got that killer theme, and a copy of the code for the optin box would be greatly appreciated.

If you’ve not got the message it’s similar to forums just be even more respectful of the site owners they do not want to spend their day deleting spam posts. That’s about it for today however if you haven’t got Odinn’s massive-traffic-flood yet really consider it.
